I've been M.I.A. What else is new. + TMI: City of Bones Teaser Trailer

Hello!

  Once again, I have been gone. This time I've been super busy, like, no joke. My days start at 5am, yup, I said 5am. Now, I am not a morning person, I am the person who would sleep until 1pm. Notice how it's past tense, I can't do that anymore, I am so accustomed to waking up early now. I HATE IT. I miss sleeping in, I'm a freaking night owl for crying out loud!! It's sacrilegious I tell ya.

Well, my day consists of caring for my 2 year old nephew, did you know they call those years the "Terrible twos?" Well, it's  SO true!! He's not a bad kid, he's just so FULL of energy. When the hell did he turn into the energizer bunny? He is also mischievous, he'll cause havoc with an angelic smile on that adorable face of his. So I constantly find myself running after him, making sure he doesn't get into trouble and he only sleeps while I'm driving. I have him from 7am to 4pm. At 3:15pm, my 6 year old brother joins in. at 4:30 I go in to work, I get home 12ish. I read, I sleep around 2am. Yeah, and of course I do all I have to do while caring for my nephew. It's hard. A hand for all the mommies out there. I admire you.

Oh, here he goes: Aww wook at the wittle angel! NO. He is evil, he loves to torture and keep me awake. Okay, yeah, he IS adorable, but still.

I haven't been sleeping much. All work no play. And I know I might be exaggerating a bit, but I'm so stressed out, I'm also trying to get all my things together for school this January. So much crap that I have to do. I will be posting though. No biggie though. Ah and one more thing. 

THE MORTAL INSTRUMENTS: CITY OF BONES!! SQEEEEEEE!!!! 
How freaking awesome is that TEASER Trailer?! OMG I swear I freaking Fangirled so hard at work! I didn't care who was there. I just had to see it. Then Twitter exploded, It was amazing. How amazing is the cast? Lily, Jamie, Robert, Kevin, Jemima. And Godfrey's voice? Pure eargasm! 
I will be seeing Breaking Dawn pt. 2 Monday (11/19/2012)!! I really hope they show it in the previews.
I've been a fan of TMI since around the book "City of Bones" first came out. Then in 2009 I heard it was going to be made into a movie, and I just went apeshit. It broke my heart everytime it got pushed back. This year though, this year was it! I cannot wait for the movie!!

Books Books, and more Books!

Hello,

It is that time again, where I show you my latest books, either bought, gifted, or won. And let me just say that I am sooo stoked! I've received a bunch of books lately, and holy shit do I need a new bookcase!

Okay, so E-books are fairly easy to acquire, as in cheap, or free. So I won't even try to list all the books I've gotten for my Kindle. But here are just a few that I bought, or were gifted.

Dearly, Beloved (Gone With the Respiration #2) by Lia Habel

This book I won off Goodreads, along with two bookmarks, and wait for it, they're signed YAY!! I love them! 

Now, this prize is a big one. 
This past August I entered a contest called "END OF SUMMER EPIC GIVEAWAY" by the lovely Nancy, from The Ravenous Reader and won! Yay me! Okay, I was so excited, because, I mean, more beautiful books! You can never have enough books! It's also the second contest of hers that I've won. Which is awesome and crazy. 

I received both signed, and unsigned books, as well as a bunch ARC'S and lots of swag. 
I hugged both boxes when my mailman delivered them to me. He looked at me funny, but it's okay since he's the one that delivers all my lovely packages:)

Books Books, and more Books!


Hmm. I haven't really bought any new books, mostly because I have so many I don't even know were to start. I'm playing Kindle shuffle most of the time, or asking my little brother to choose one for me.

I've ordered a few books on Amazon that I just had to get in print, and Pre-ordered a few that I cannot wait for. I'll be posting those when I get them. 

Also, about reviews, I sort of just post them on my good reads. They're short, and strait to the point, not  a whole essay. Mostly because I just can't focus right now guys. It's already difficult to start a new book, my ADD is killing me right now. And I fucking hate it. It's fucking up what I love most, and that's reading.

Deamon Invasion 2012!



Over the last couple of weeks, you’ve heard us talking about the upcoming #daemoninvasion and we’re so excited to finally share with you what is going on.
Really excited.

The beautiful and uber cool models, Pepe Toth and Sztella Tziotziosz, who grace the Lux covers, will be joining us in the United States!  You heard right.  They are flying here, from Hungary to spend a few days as Daemon and Katy! While they are here, they will be working with Vania, from VLC Productions (the team behind Cassandra Clare’s The Mortal Instruments, Melissa de La Cruz, Kimberly Derting, Moira Young, Kami Garcia and Margret Stohl, Hillary Duff, Lauren Destefano, and many, many more authors’ book trailers), to film book trailers for the Lux Series.

During the filming in Atlanta, they will be accompanying us on tour! What does that mean? You get to meet them. In the flesh. They will be participating in the signings and events. At those signings, we’ll be giving away signed posters, photos, and other swag. There will also be meet and greet events you can join in on.

At each signing, there will be advanced copies of Onyx given away!

And to top things off (as if this isn’t enough, but we don’t do anything small), there’s something very, very exciting in the works! It involves advanced copies of Opal, water, and a little destination known as the Bahamas.

I am not kidding.

This will be epic.

Aare you excited? I am! This tour is going to be so, so much fun, and I’m so thrilled that Pepe and Sztella are a part of it. We owe them a huge thank you and a giant welcome making the 16 hour flight to meet the readers of the Lux Series.  You!

Recent Purchases

So, I love books right? I'm always buying books, whether in print or for my kindle. I ordered some a few days ago and I thought I might share with you. Oh and one more thing, you know how sometimes you really love a book, but it's on your kindle and you just want it in print?? Yeah, I buy them cause I want to always have them with me. :)
